Affordable Housing
Building homes where belonging begins.
At Moonridge, housing is not a product—it’s a promise. A promise that those who care for our communities should have a place to rest, grow, and stay. We believe that housing is the foundation of stability, dignity, and connection—and it should never be out of reach for the very people who hold society together.
What We’re Doing Now
- Identifying and securing land for community housing
- Structuring ownership through a community land trust
- Designing home models that are efficient, sustainable, and income-accessible
- Building partnerships with local contractors, tradespeople, and future residents
Each step is guided by The Village Blueprint—our plan for integrated, community-rooted living.
Our Housing Vision
Moonridge homes will be intentionally small, environmentally conscious, and community-facing. We’re planning a mix of:
- Tiny homes with private space and shared outdoor areas
- Small multi-unit dwellings with communal kitchens or amenities
- Cohousing-style layouts that center connection over isolation
This isn’t about cramming people into minimal spaces—it’s about designing environments that support health, belonging, and long-term rootedness.
Why It Matters
Too often, those who serve—caregivers, artists, farmworkers, veterans—are priced out of the very towns they keep running.
Moonridge exists to change that. We’re creating housing that:
- Doesn’t depend on credit scores or generational wealth
- Offers long-term stability, not temporary relief
- Prioritizes dignity, not just affordability
Because when people have secure footing, they can give, grow, and thrive—not just survive.
How You Can Help
We’re building a different model of housing—and we can’t do it alone.
Your donation helps us purchase land, develop infrastructure, and build homes from the ground up.
Your skills—whether in carpentry, planning, outreach, or advocacy—can lay the foundation for a more just future.
